Y'Shua is YHWH Part 4
by Rabbi Ian K. Michaels
Statements of Omnipresence
One of the most remarkable characteristics of Y’shua (that seems to be missed by those who deny His Divinity) is that He often made statements of omnipresence. Not even angelic beings, whether heavenly or demonic can claim omnipresence. This characteristic is unique to One, and only One. None other than YHWH Himself is omnipresent. We see this during the conversation with Nicodemus; And no man has ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. [John 3:13] Here, on earth talking with Nicodemus, while saying He IS in heaven……. I don’t know about you, but Y’shua definitely has my attention here! Who talks like that? Just two verses earlier, Messiah said something that was very reminiscent of Divine speech we read in Genesis 1:26, where YHWH says, “Let Us make man in Our image.” Timeless truth I tell you, We speak what We know, and testify that We have seen; and you receive not Our witness. [John 3:11] Here is another obvious statement of omnipresence; For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there I am in their midst. [Matthew 18:20] And how is He going to do that? He didn’t say, “My Father will be in their midst.” He said HE would be! Only a being with the ability of omnipresence can speak like that, and YHWH is the only BEING that is omnipresent! Here is another;
Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to Him, and will sup with Him, and he with Me. [Revelation 3:20]
Here we have Y’shua stating that He will come into every one of us who invites Him in, and take up residence IN us. I have done this, and can say that because of this promise, Y’shua lives in my heart. Does He live in yours? And how about the multitude of the rest of our born again brothers and sisters from every language, nation, tribe and tongue; does He live in all of their hearts too? If so, then we can safely say that Y’shua our Messiah is omnipresent, and if He is omnipresent, He is YHWH! Any other Spirit coming into us that is not Kadosh (Holy) amounts to an undesirable possession. When Y’shua moves in, He is bringing the Father and the Kadosh Ruach for they are Echad (United). Elohim is the Only One who is to receive man’s worship. Those who worship the Elohim of Israel have the only faith where the worshipped comes to dwell within the worshipper.
